1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading, or using the ShareWay mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform.
2. Non-Commercial Expense Sharing Policy

ShareWay is strictly a peer-to-peer cost-sharing network for daily commuters traveling along shared routes to work or educational institutions. ShareWay is NOT a commercial ride-hailing, taxi, or transportation network company (TNC). Drivers on ShareWay must not charge rates exceeding verified direct fuel and toll costs and must not operate for commercial profit.
3. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver's license (if operating a vehicle) and active motor vehicle insurance to use ShareWay. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Commuter Responsibilities & Driving Safety
Members who agree to drive in a ShareWay group represent and warrant that:
- They possess a valid, unexpired driver's license suitable for the jurisdiction of travel.
- Their vehicle is registered, mechanically sound, and covered by valid automotive liability insurance.
- They will observe all traffic laws, speed limits, and safe driving protocols at all times.
5. Limitation of Liability
ShareWay provides a software coordination platform only. ShareWay does not own or operate vehicles, perform employment background checks, or employ drivers. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShareWay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from vehicle operation or member interactions.
6. Contact & Termination
ShareWay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate community safety standards or commercial misuse policies. Questions regarding these Terms should be directed to info.ShareWay@gmail.com.
